To identify resources with tags, you can locate Azure resources tags easily. Azure Tags allows us to identify a specific set of Azure resources for the specific category, or logically organize them for better management. Azure tags are just a name and value pairs. Once resources are tagged, you can filter, search or event organized based on the tags. You can also tag single resources or multiple resources together. Instead of going to each resource and check for Azure Tags, you can locate Azure resources Tags easily by adding additional columns to the resources page.
Locate Azure Resources Tags Easily
From the Azure Portal, Navigate to All Resources Page. This page listed out all the resources. Click on the Edit Columns option to customize the column option.
Edit Columns option will bring the Edit Columns blade for adding new columns for resources.
You will find “Tags” as a Column. Move that as Selected Columns and Apply. That’s it. You should be able to see the all the Tags corresponding to the Azure Resources directly from the All Azure Resources Page.
This will help you to identify and locate the resources tag easily. This is quite helpful during the initial tagging or resources or reviewing the overall all resource tagging. The Pencil icon, allows you to edit the tag directly by taking you to Edit Tags Page.
Adding Specific Azure Tag to a Column
You can also add a specific tag to a column. Open the Edit Columns blade, and from the drop-down select “Tags”. It will list out all the tags for your Azure Resources.
You can select specific tag for which you want to review resources and add it as a column. You can then review the same from the All Azure Resources Page.
