Enable Compression for Azure Content Delivery Network (CDN)

You can enable compression for Azure Content Delivery Network (CDN) to improve performances. Azure Content Delivery Network (CDN) enables developers to speedily deliver content to the users from the nearest hosted content server. Azure CDN accelerate the overall content delivery process by leveraging CDN Endpoints.  Whiles CDN deals with several statics files, that needs to deliver across users, enabling compression to those files improve performances.

Enable Compression for Azure Content Delivery Network (CDN)

Azure CDN File compression improves file transfer speed and increases performance by reducing a content size before transmitting.  To enable the File Compression, from the CDN Overview Page, select the End Points. From the Settings Blade, select the “Compression” option.

You can now Enable the Compression of the file here and add the types of files which you want to compress.
