Did you know- You can drag & drop multiple tabs or even pin / unpin them together in Visual Studio ?

Couple of days back I shared a tip on Persevering and Separating the pinned tabs in Visual Studio. Where you have seen how we can preserve the pin status and can have separate rows for pinned tabs.  There are couple of more interesting facts about this tabs. first of all, You can move multiple of them together in a new windows or even same window itself.

To do this, just select the tabs by holding the Ctrl button, then drag to move them and the release them.

That will simply take the multiple tabs out together and then you can place them in a same or other windows.

This is useful when you are working on multi monitor setup and want to move a set of tabs to other screen.

Here is another interesting fact, where you can pin-unpin multiple tabs together by selecting them by holding ctrl button.  Yes, it is as simple as said. Press the Ctrl button, select multiple tabs ( which you want pin / unpin) and then right click and choose pin / unpin tab from the context menu.

Hope this helps !
